This is an original UNITED KINGDOM first pressing of THE MODERN LOVERS by THE MODERN LOVERS featuring Jonathan Richman and produced by the Welsh genius that seems to have had a hand in anything that really mattered in  music over the last 50 years JOHN CALE.
This original copy of a seriously great album, now finally hailed as a true early punk classic and  rightly so, is seriously hard to find these days . So this is a rare opoortunity ! The none gate fold sleeve was made of thin stock so very delicate by its nature also never laminated  so they all show edge ware and ring ware. As these sleeves go this one is quite good compared to  most . The original yellow BESERKLEY inner sleeve is here and in EXCELLENT condition.
Double click the pictures and you can see both sides of the labels are in EXCELLENT condition with no doodles or writing that should not be there. The vinyl has a great luster to both sides,  but there are very light hairlines to both sides but no raise marks or scratches that you can feel. The album plays entirely from start to finish without jumps skips or sticking. So the sleeve is VERY GOOD + and the vinyl is VERY GOOD ++ on this seldom seen rare original FIRST UK pressing.
