Description

45 rpm of THE MONKEES-TEAR DROP CITY (LP track). 1969.  Single sided Acetate one off reference disc in VG++ shape.  Some of the acetate is coming loose and there are some cracks in the acetate where the metal is showing underneath but where the grooves are (playing surface) there are no issues and it plays great.  This hasn’t been offered for sale in almost 20 years, so don’t sleep on this MONKEES fans!  ***Note-acetate records are metal with a thin layer of acetate plastic on top.  It is very thin and not meant to be played often.  It wears out much faster than a regular vinyl record.  In addition, acetates often have an alternate version of a known or released song, therefore it may sound different than the normal released version.  This is especially exciting for collectors as you may be getting a previously unknown version of a song that has been released!  See my other listings for more acetates including more pop and some rare garage bands.
