Description

Because remember, Sire Records started out in the mid-70's as a great purveyor of anthology albums--not only reissuing the Nuggets album (and it was their edition that all the young punks went crazy over in 1976) but also great now-rare anthologies of The Troggs and The Pretty Things.
So by 1979 they had the chops to make a VERY fun soundtrack for the one and only Ramones movie, and to bring not just a rare live Ramones medly (five songs in rapid succession, live at the Roxy in LA), but a cut with the Paley Brothers and Ramones playing together, and surprising cuts from Nick Lowe, Eno, Eddie and the Hot Rods, and goofy early-70's progenitors of the Ramones' goofiness...Alice Cooper, Brownsville Station...it's a fun listen throughout, and nobody seems to want it or own it. C'mon.
I haven't seen the movie since it came out, it's time to revisit!
Gorgeous NM vinyl and a sweet NM sleeve.
