Description
THE MOTOWN STORY box set of 5 LP Records with almost 60 classic Tamla recordings from various artistes, released in 1970 - ideal for the Tamla Motown fan!
I grade as a ‘collector/buyer’ and always attempt to give the most accurate description as possible in order to avoid disappointment - please view my 100% feedback
4 of the LP’s are MINT, with no visable scratches, scuffs or marks after cleaning. The spindle holes are unmarked, indicating that they probably have never been played
A 5th LP (volume 2) has been played as there are spindle marks on both sides, and whilst side 1 is MINT - unfortunately there is a 1” or so long scratch on side 2 (see photo). It may be worth searching eBay for a replacement as they are often sold separately
All 5 paper inner sleeves are also mint - with no rips, corner damage, seam splits and no stains except a very slight one on 1 sleeve
The outer box front isn’t bad, but the whole thing has seen better days, 2 corners have split and there is understandable wear on all edges (it’s over 50 years old, after all!)
Stored in smoke, damp and pet free conditions
