Description

Formed in 1988 in California  Garage Punk band The Mummies were known for their chaotic live gigs. All of their music output was  released on vinyl only characterised by low-fi sound sometimes referred to as 'Budget Rock'. Their style combines the spirit of early Rock n Roll with the intensity of punk.Released on the Estrus  record label (catalogue number  ES94015 )this album is a compilation of their early singles.  The lp is in near mint condition (ignore the deliberate slips and jumps which are part of the recording). The sleeve is also in near mint condition and still in the original shrink wrap. I will be listing more garage punk over the coming weeks.
