Description
THE MYSTERIES
My True Love
b/w
Pink Panther
JDL 3554
CONDITION: M-
Debut single by the Orlando, Florida band that later
recorded the super-cool "Please Agree"
on the Manhattan label.
They totally blow the lid off of "Pink Panther",
with an intense, noisy version that probably
sent Henry Mancini heading for the hills.
The other side is teenbeat with some
Buddy Holly influence, sort of like what the
Bobby Fuller Four was doing at the time.
Recorded and mastered in 1966, at Criteria
Studios in Miami.
