COVER is NM
Completely SEALED with no breaks or tears to shrink (one small breathing hole). Spanking clean, snapping bright all around. No grime, discoloration or any marks. Straight, edged and sharp cornered all around - VERY flat. The only caveat about this cover (as with all I have seen ...and I saw a small box of them to pick from) is that there are a few small ripples between the outer slick and the backing stock. Very minor, but as I said: they all seemed to have it; this was the one with the least rippling.

Bizarre Psych Funk LP released by the No. Cal. trio "Mysterious Minds" who played, among other more traditional instruments, a self-made contraption called a Brass Orchestra Cabinet (designed, developed & invented by the keyboardist Tim S. Jones). It’s like a homemade 'pipe organ' made of trumpets and other horns, sounding like nothing else you ever heard before - and it's used to good measure. Superb rare groove all the way, with way out psychedelic lyrics but also long instrumental passages. Really nice drums, some wild guitar and great, soulful male & female vocals and a really odd worldview. It says both "Mysterious Minds" and "Mystic Minds" on the label, but they were primarily known as The Mysterious Minds.

I can’t think of too many other private Psychedelic Funk LPs that are this good and this “out there”.
A unique and unknown masterpiece that will be highly appreciated by rare funk groove diggers, DJ's, psych-heads incredible strange music fans...

This LP came direct from the private collection of somebody who worked on the recording (not a band member). I bought 2; kept this one sealed and opened one to play (you can see that one's label in LAST 2 Photos). That one has Matrix #s of: SMBFT-1-A // SMBFT-1-B. I am pretty certain this sealed one will have the same etched matrix #s in the dead wax. My friend who worked on the recording (approx. 15 miles from where I live) stated that they were only pressed the one time -he thinks less than 500 were pressed. I've been blessed to actually have 2 of this rare gem for a number of years - now it's time to send one out into the cosmos.
