Description
Up for auction is a very rare copy of THE NATION'S NIGHTMARE. This record is a report on crime in America first broadcast in 1951 on the CBS Radio Network. Side 1 features a report on traffic in narcotics. Side 2 features a report on crimes on the waterfront. Most notable is the cover art work by ANDY WARHOL. There are some condition issues: the sleeve does have edge wear and the spine is partially split and the cover has "Dept" written in pencil over the "H" and the "T" in NIGHTMARE. The label has "original recording of Dept" written in pencil on Side 1 and "original" written in pencil on Side 2 label. The item does have some scratches that don't affect the records ability to play. I checked and did not find any areas of skipping. I listed the condition as Very Good. I am not a record expert, so if you want additional information, please ask before bidding. I listed all the problem areas, but I believe the best part of this record is the ANDY WARHOL art work. This item would display nicely framed. Payment is due at auction's end. Item will be shipped Priority in a sturdy cardboard record mailer.
