.I play my records on a record player (not on a sophisticated hifi system) so that i can hear them as i used to.I cannot say that a hifi system will not pick up sounds that were not apparent when the record was first made .Having said that i can hear some hiss and slight background on this record on my record player.Side one has some surface marks but plays ok no skips.Side two has more noticable marks and a couple of small scratches (tried to photograph but difficult) but does play ok with just a couple of areas where clicks can be faintly heard.I have gone into detail because i know that this is a rare record from one of the bands i used to see at local youth clubs etc in my teenage years before they became famous as Slade,and i realise that it might be of interest to collectors.
