The Nerves stayed together long enough to put out this self-released 7" and do a station wagon tour of the USA before splitting up. Collins and Case continued on briefly without the difficult Lee, then each formed their own excellent bands, The Paul Collins Beat & The Plimsouls. Case went onto a prolific solo career, and occasional Plimsouls reunions, while Collins has soldiered on under the Paul Collins Beat moniker. Lee, who wrote "Hanging On The Telephone", which became one of BLONDIE's earliest hits, hasn't really been heard from very much over the years. Bomp/Alive has recently reissued some live Nerves & Plimsouls stuff, as well as the demos for the Collins/Case shortlived band, The Breakaways.

This is the original pressing of this legendary powerpop EP. I bought it @ the late, great Wax Trax Records in Chicago around late 1976/early 1977. It's been kept in it's original plastic sleeve since I bought it.

CONDITION ; Overall, I'd rate the entire thing around a "B" The cover is in excellent shape for 34 years old, with just a few wrinkles and a little ring wear. The seams are not split, and it's not yellowed at all. The record is clean, but has been played many times, and has a few minor scratches that don't affect play, though are slightly audible. I just cleaned it and listened to it before listing it, it sounds pretty decent. I've bought many new records that don't sound this good.
