** Classic 1967 Psych/Prog vinyl LP by THE NICE with KEITH EMERSON (pre-ELP), on the UK STEREO FIRST-ISSUE WHITE IMMEDIATE LABEL. (Later pressings were on the pink label) **

A Very Good condition disc. Quite a few minor surface marks / light scratches, and some hairline marks, mainly from where the LP has been taken out of it's sleeve. Some minor spindle marks. A name written on Side 1 label (see photo). No skips, jumps, sticking, warps, or deep scratches. Good sound quality generally, but with some minor surface noise in quieter passages and a few 'pops'. Tested on a Thorens turntable.

Sleeve in Very Good condition. Some general wear. A name written to the top right corner of the rear of the sleeve, but as this is black ink on a black background, it is difficult to see. A very small 1cm seam split to the lower opening edge. Some edge wear. Some minor creasing. Spine in fair condition, but with significant wear, making some text no longer legible. (see photo).

Supplied in white inner-sleeve with polythene insert.

GRADING:

All records are graded using the 'Record Collector' format:

MINT (M): The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR (F): The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

POOR (P): The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD (B): The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
