To the many new followers in the passionate pastime of record collecting it is extremly difficult to get across the honest rarity of this record right here. THIS IS A TRULY, oh so rare OPPORTUNITY, that one can literally wait years and years before eBay manages to locate a copy. You may see 1 or 2 French copies show up but this is the ENGLISH pressing and by FAR and AWAY the most HIGHLY PRIZED of them all.THIS IS FOR THE MORE SERIOUS RECORD COLLECTORS OUT THERE. 
The sleeve.  WHAT A SLEEVE !!!!! Parlour Game by the German illustrations artist Heinrich Kley. This is by miles the best sleeve I have ever seen as these sleeves tend to be a dirt magnet. In almost 45 years of collecting I have only seen 3 copies of this. This is a front textured flip back none laminated sleeve and its a bloody CORKER. Due to the very thin delicate nature of the sleeve, (it is very similar to Bowie`s DRESS COVER). It is impossible to find one undamaged. The only real damage here is on the back panel top right corner of the spinal flip back. As you can see the back has very slight dulling from age it is 53 years old. The only damage to the spine is on the F from the word OF and the C in the CAT number. The front panel is STUNNING.Again only slight dulling to the edges and corners but to ANY REASONABLE collector CONSIDERING the rarity of this album, NO PROBLEM AT ALL. After all, it WILL be a very long time before a better copy shows up. The sleeve is graded as EXCELLENT PLUS. The inner sleeve is present and in EXCELLENT condition.
The vinyl: They just do not make them like this anymore. This is a thick heavy slab of vinyl that pre-dates the 1973 oil shortage. Records following the oil shortage were never the same meaning much less durable due to less shellac going into the blend. Records pre 73 were much tougher so less prone to scratches and skips. The labels to both sides are immaculate. Under a bright light there are tiny hairlines to both sides but nothing feelable at all and no cause really for concern. There is some light background noise in the quieter passages of the music when listening with an ultra critical ear. But there is nothing that spoils the listening enjoyment and I myself have played this album very carefully for years and it plays BRILLIANTLY through its entirety. When an album of this immence rarity comes along and that album is spinning around YOUR turntable the experience holds an intrinsic value, akin to looking at an Old Master oil painting. "WOW I cant believe I am listening to an ORIGINAL 1971 UK pressing of DEN OF INIQUITY by the NORMAN HAINES BAND".  This album truly is THAT RARE !
The album is graded as EXCELLENT MINUS.
