Description
The Notes Don’t Leave Me Now (written by Ivory Joe Hunter & Clyde Otis) b/w Cha Jezebel (written by Clyde Otis & Bill Sanford) 7" PROMO single on Capitol F-3332 from 1956. The matrix #'s are 45-14870-D4/45-14871-D2. I also have a stock copy of this 45 up for auction this week in a separate auction, so check that out too!
PLEASE NOTE: I have well over 200 45's up for auction this week, which came from an amazing collection of vintage Capitol, Liberty, and some smaller labels that are a mix of commercial and PROMO copies from the mid-1950’s including rock, pop, rockabilly, doo wop and R&B. It appears that this collection came from someone who worked in the industry during the mid-50’s, and with the overall condition of these 45’s, it appears they may have been played a few times and just stored away. There may be some grease pencil markings in the dead wax, which may be quality control notations. With this said, please make sure you check them all out! If you win multiples, I'll combine them into one package to save you $$$ on S/H!!!
The labels on this 45 state FOR PROMOTIONAL USE!!! The white labled vinyl on this 45 is in very good plus condition with whispy sleeve marks. There's a small area of ghost-like white in the vinyl of each side, which appears to have happened when it was pressed. This is a really RARE & COOL Notes/doo wop collectible, make sure you bid today!!!
