BLOODY RARE UK 1st ORIGINAL PRESSING of 1969!!!!! Hardly if ever surfaces. EX condition all way round!!!!

GRADING:

LP Record Set: SIDE A: Excellent – has a few visible (under bright light) superficial papersleeve scuff marks, no scratches or damages. Plays NM   ////// SIDE B: Near Mint

Laminated Jacket: Excellent – a couple of very small creases in bottom lamination – bottom middle seam has 0,5mm rub in lamination. NO splits or bend corners. Perfect intact spine that is fully readable.

Some words on this issue: OPEN MIND: “S/T” (Philips – SBL.7893) UK Original copy of this highly rated all-time mod/ psych Holy Grail. The Open Mind succeeded in mutating their original Mod sound into the hard/psych territories, filling the gap between the beginning of one era and the end of another. With their first and only album released in 1969 the band overlapped styles with a singing attitude rooted in the freak beat era and fuelled with acidic guitar dementia. Monotonous rhythm guitar interlock with double bass drum, which is set against doom-laden fuzz guitar ragas combined with Eastern-influenced psychedelia. A potion that is lethal to say the least. This album is a solid product of the time. It certainly merits the "classic" status since this record shreds. Great copy....conservatively graded EX all way round.....
