The Open Mind: "Magic Potion" / "Cast A Spell" 1969, UK/Philips BF 1805. Disc is M-, Company sleeve is EX with some minor creasing and one side has demo stamps. Stunning stock copy of their incredibly rare post-LP 45! It's like new... the playing surfaces are flawless, no marks whatsoever and it plays perfectly. This 45 never had a tri-center. This is one fantastic two-sider, some say the best ever from the UK scene. The topside is a burning hard rocker with fuzz guitar and pummelling drums; the flip is more melodic with a great vocal hook. This is a legendary British psych 45; one listen and you'll know why.

I ship all records in strong cardboard mailers with cardboard flats added to increase stability. The discs are always removed from the original sleeves and placed in new white paper sleeves to prevent seam splits, and everything is dressed in plastic sleeves for travel. Please be aware that these supplies are expensive to purchase and represent a small portion of my shipping charges. I pack/ship one day per week, usually it is Friday.

An ebay user kindly pointed out to me that a modern counterfeit exists of this single. I don't have trail-off info for the counterfeit, but the pics I found online seem to show a smooth label profile. This original has two rings in the paper, clearly seen in the photo I've just added.
