You Belong To Me b/w I Don't Want To Take A Chance-The Orioles (Jubilee 45-5102) Released in 1952.
Not a bad 'player copy' of this classic pairing, with the 'A' side being one of the most beautiful versions of this classic composition. The first version of course was made famous by Joni James early in 1952, but most are familiar with the 1962 version by The Duprees with a 'big band' orchestration. Bing Crosby, Dean Martin and Patti Page also took a stab at the song with positive results. Very seldom does an original copy of this classic turn up as most copies found are either on the 78 rpm format or a reissue. This is the original '45' version issue in all it's splendor.
