Description
Original 1968 U.S. stereo press of LP on Acta label
The Other Half ( self titled)
CONDITION:
cover: VG+(+)
lite shelf wear/soiling/fading ~ lite wear/fraying to edges & corners
small bumps to all 4 corners ~top edge at opening is neatly taped with cello
bottom edge has beginning of seam split at center ( paper cracking)
vinyl: VG+(+)
clean & glossy ~ a bit of lite groove wear on a couple of cuts
side 1 has small faint mark on 1st cut & tiny lite grit mark on 2nd cut
side 2 has small lite scuff on 1st cut & tiny minor mark at extro
all superficial surface ~ nothing deep ~ no affect on play integrity ~
plays excellent with the odd occasional soft click &
a bit of occasional low level lite crackle here & there

Joynson’s psych reference "Fuzz, Acid & Flowers"
…. composed of original numbers aside from an interesting version
of Arthur Lee's Feathered Fish. Holden's fine psychedelic guitar work
stands out throughout and is at its best on Morning Fire plus the finale
What Can I Do For You?. Another number, Oz Lee Eaves Drops had an
interesting beat, whilst the band's best known track, the non-LP Mr. Pharmacist,
is a classic psych-punker and well worth checking out.
