This item is a 7” 45rpm vinyl single by The Outcasts, released in 1978 on It Records, catalogue number it 4.


The Outcasts were one of Northern Irelands very first Punk bands.  This is a very rare copy of their first 45rpm 7” single release on It Records, based in Portadown.  It Records also issued singles by Speed and Midnite Cruiser, bands that featured Paul West (aka Paul Maxwell) on vocals and who later sang in the best band ever to come out of Portadown, The Tearjerkers (see the Wikipedia entry for The Tearjerkers where I get a name check!).  It was all very exciting and a marvellous time to be young in Belfast – I know, I was there!
