THE PELICANS on PARROT LABEL R&B 78RPM
"AURELIA" & "WHITE CLIFFS OF DOVER"

I believe this record was made in 1954. I think I was lucky to find it. Just not lucky enough to find a great one.
Stained, scuffing and scratches. Some scratches may affect play and sound. Still some shine but is dulled with use. Writing on label.
I no longer have turntable to test the records so I must rely on visual inspection only.
This record has been used, obviously, and although the scratches are not very deep, there is the possibility of skipping or popping.
It would probably benefit from a thorough cleaning. I am not equipped to do that.
At best, I will lightly remove surface particles with a very soft rag.
I hesitate to try and grade the record without being able to listen to it.
Having said all that, if this was a common old 78, I would probably use it for target practice.
I realize it is very rare so I put it out there for you to decide.
Perhaps it is salvageable or maybe it just has label value.
Please examine the photos as they are an important part of the description.
I have included photos of the scratches and they are all on the Aurelia side.

WHITE CLIFFS OF DOVER Sounds great! No skipping or popping. Minor noise.
AURELIA Overall good. No skipping or popping. A little more noise through the scuffs.
I'm sure a proper cleaning will make it even better
price rating
