Description

This is an auction for a rare double LP by, The Pentangle, Sweet Child.

This was released by Transatlantic Records in 1968 and has catalogue number TRA178. Please check the pictures for clarification.

Condition. The gatefold sleeve comes in fine condition with very light buffing to the very corners and a few light dirt marks, most of which will certainly clean of the laminated surface. Otherwise its as new,  Spine & Edges Ex, Centre ex, No tears, bends or creases, no discolouring, lamination ex, a fine sleeve and graded at Near Mint.

This comes with its two original 'patent' inner sleeves which have some yellowing.

The labels are nice condition, with only a few spindle trails and a couple of light finger marks seen under close examination. The centre hole shows no signs of wear on three sides, with side B having one tiny knick to the very bottom of the centre hole at 6 o'clock. Please check the pictures, being very fussy, superb labels.

The vinyl retains its new rainbow shine and looks immaculate, Under close examination I can only see a few tiny feather scratches. I have given this a test play and found the audio was strong and clear. The above mentioned feather scratches are of course completely non-audible. Playing with very little, if any, lessening in sound quality, with only the very occasional, very quiet crackle just heard (probably dust). The audio is superb and certainly not appearing to suffer from any lessening in sound quality due to wear. Quiet breaks and entries and just about as good as you can find this.
