Description
Here we have a 1st press copy of Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Phantom Of The Opera from the original 1987 London Theatre production by Cameron Mackintosh.
Both records have been ultrasonically cleaned in our amazing Degritter and the vinyl has come up spotlessly clean and very shiny like new with barely any visible marks, clean labels and sits flat on the turntable. This grades easily EX, borderline NM.
Playing this to test was an absolute joy! This is a wonderful recording which has really captured the live theatre atmosphere with clear & vibrant sound and a low noise floor.
The vinyl plays beautifully with no issues whatsoever. No jumping or sticking.
The gatefold sleeve is similarly in excellent condition. Smooth with very little wear, only minor creasing, and slight corner rubbing. No writing, stains, tape or tears.
Both photo inner sleeves are present and in excellent condition, however we have popped the records into brand new poly lined inner sleeves to keep them pristine after cleaning - you will receive both.
The 24 page booklet containing the lyrics is also present.
A lovely copy to own, play and enjoy in fully cleaned and tested condition - ready to pop straight onto your turntable.
