THE PINK FLOYD - ATOM HEART MOTHER - HARVEST

Original VINYL LP and a VERY FIRST PRESSING. Released on the Harvest label. A very first pressing of this classic as indicated by the matrix.Also,it was released in October,1970-This one has been dated by the owner in the pocket of the sleeve (out of sight) "1970 November".

As you can see,this is a VERY first pressing. 

CAT NO SHVL781      MATRIX  A-1 AND B-1

Sleeve- The classic gatefold by Garrod and Lofthouse.Usual age wear with ringwear.Shows storage marks and corner,opening and edge wear.A small pen number "1" written  top left inside.A well handled sleeve but still strong and presentable.

Inners-Comes with the old polylined Made in England inner-in nice condition.  

Labels- Labels read "The Gramophone Co, Ltd " and "Made in Gt.Britain".There is a name written neatly in pen on one side.Minor spindle marks.

Vinyl- Still retains a shine and gloss to both sides-clean vinyl.There are odd hairlines and marks but nothing serious.

Playback- I am very pleased to say there are no skips or jumps.There is some crackle in places-heavier at the starts as is always the case.Side 1 has crackle in places with numerous ticks.There is a 1 minute or so series of clicks.Side 2 has heavyish crackle at the start with clicks and ticks in places.I still found it an enjoyable sound and very pleasing to know I had listened to a first issue !!!!! I should also point out that the "drip" on the end of Side 2 continues into the run off groove-only found on first pressings.

This is a CLASSIC record.Far from perfect but playable and not to be missed.
