THE PLATTERS "The Best Of" rare WHITE LABEL TEST PRESSING LP from 1977 (MERCURY 9286 925). I believe this one is an AUSTRALIAN test pressing, as this compilation was only issued with this catalog number only in Australia as far as I know. Test pressings are very rare and collectible. Only a few are made in the pressing plants and even fewer find their way to the collectors’ market. Includes 20 tracks featuring all their classic hits. Includes: The great pretender, Twilight time, My prayer, Smoke gets in your eyes, etc. Comes in a plain white sleeve. Record is EX.
