Well Ladies and Gentlemen here we have possibly one of the most significant finds that has ever turned up on Ebay!! This is a psych monster in its original state!!! Here we have an Advision Acetate Demo of Wooden Spoon / In Your Tower by 'The Poets', both tunes being in their original 'Rough Mix' versions. The standard single, alone is probably the rarest of all Psych / Freakbeat 45's to come by due to the poor selling figures and limited release back in 1967, let alone an acetate with different mixes!!! This will be a once in a lifetime oppartunity to own this little piece of music history. This disc (i should think) is an individual and nothing like this will ever turn up again. This is a gem of a item and would not look out of place in any serious collection. All questions welcome. What more can i say, apart from happy bidding!!! A NO RESERVE AUCTION WITH A LOW START PRICE!!!!!

Disc (Housed in its original Advision thick card sleeve): EX: Due to some light surface markings that have no affect on the sound of this recording at all. I HAVE NOT CLEANED THIS ACETATE, because as we all know the vinyl on acetates is pretty thin and i would like to leave this job to the new owner!!! There is a very, very small edge flake of vinyl (see wooden spoon pic), this does not detract from this item in any way. This is a superb example of a unbelievably rare item and sounds great!!

Labels: Are both clean and tidy with only one or two very faint spindal markings around the centre hole on each side. As you can see by the photos the word 'Apollo' is written on both sides and (Rough Mix) written on side two label.

Sound Quality: This single sounds superb throughout. Crisp and clear with no distortion. A really great sounding copy.
