THE POLICE SO LONELY A&M 78 A2B1 Rare UK 1st pr 45 MINT/EX AMS7402 Quite hard to find 1st press.
There are slight differences between this & the 1980 re-release. This has a slight metalic tinge to the surface to a higher qualify made sleeve printed in England by CMCS Print & Colour.
Also has a different thumbnail cutting on rear.
LABELS also have a large A on top of the AMS7402 catalogue number.
SLEEVE is nr MINT condition,
LABELS are stunning & MINT condition,
VINYL is EX condition.
Has been cleaned & has a new Japanese inner sleeve.
This issue is quite hard to find hence the high price! Item 1035"
For accurate play grading (like all my records)
This record has been played on a Linn LP12 Sondek turntable
fitted with a Goldring stylus,
Listened to through full range SD Acoustics speakers
that have superb response and definition on all frequencies.
With a Quad Amp set-up.
For accurate visual grade (like all my records)
This record has been professionally cleaned using an
Okki Nokki cleaning machine.
First clean with purified water and isoproranol alcohol and
finished off with L'art du son / purified water mix.
The alcohol mix removes the release agent all records have
from the manufacturing stage, this hides detail in the sound.
The L'art du son mix seems to smooth out any
brittleness in the alcohol water mix.
