Description
This is a copy of “Emotions” by The Pretty Things, released in 1972 on the Fontana Special label (SFL 13140). It has a laminated sleeve.
I would grade the outer sleeve as “Very Good”. It has no rub wear to the edges and the spine, though slightly flattened, is legible with some spot marks. There is corner wear to all 4 corners and some light bump wear to the mouth of the sleeve. There is some laminate creasing and some light mottling and spotting to front and back covers. There is some ring wear to the front and back covers (see photos).
I would grade the disc as “Very Good“. It has a very good shine but it does have a number of visible scuff and hairline marks. Play through grades as “Very Good”. There is some background noise at times and the occasional click but no skips or jumps.
I would grade the labels as “Very Good”. There are few signs of label wear, there is some light rub marking to both as well as some spotting (see photos).
The anti-static inner sleeve is a new replacement.
Matrix: Side 1 – “886428 1Y//1?420 2” stamps “1” and “2”
Side 2 – “886428 2Y//1?420” stamps “1 1 1”
Classifications are in accordance with Record Collector Magazine’s Record Collector Grading System and are possibly slightly pessimistic compared to some other sellers/collectors.
