Description

Up for sale in this auction is a rare Doo Wop record from 1956 by The Rainbows for their cuts, "They Say" "Minnie". This is a rare original Rama Records pressing with Red Center labels. Very hard to find and extremely collectible. Vinyl is in VG shape conservatively with some very light noise present (most notably during the lead-ins/quietest portions). Some light wear and signs of use are present but no deep scratches. Center labels are mostly clean but there is a bit of ball point pen on one side, visible in the photo. Comes with generic plain white sleeve. Very nice and rare!

Please see photos or ask questions before bidding!

Goldmine Grading System:

  • SS  Still Sealed
  • M  Mint - Perfect in all ways.
  • M- Mint Minus - Near perfect, most likely and unplayed record
  • NM- Near Mint Minus - Extremely well cared for record. Probably a record that's been around for some years but extremely well looked after, but still not quite new enough to call Mint.
  • VG++ Very Good Plus - As close to NM as it comes.
  • VG+  Very Good Plus - Very close to like new with only superficial signs of use that do not affect playability. Only records stored and used with care will grade out to VG+.
  • VG Very Good - A used, reasonable copy that plays. There will be obvious signs of wear and the possibility of some light surface noise between tracks or during quiet passages, but still nice and playable.
  • VG- Very Good Minus - A record with significant wear and marks. Records graded VG-usually have some noticeable surface noise.
  • G+ Good Plus. 'Good' means pretty beat up. From here on down (Fair, Poor), we're talking about extremely beat up records.
