THE RAMONES-IT'S ALIVE 1979 SIRE RECORDS GATEFOLD PORTUGUESE CLUB EDITION IMPORT 2 LP'S SRK2 6074 NP IN A STRONG VG+ CONDITION. MOSTLY CLEAN VINYL X 2!! 28 tracks of pure unadulterated NYC punk rock music in this auction. The Ramones took punk and made it their own as they were widely considered one of the best the genre had to give us all. I truly wish I has seen them back during this time but waited until the 90's to finally catch them live. All that being said, these two records give us a great example of their live show. Cuts such as Rockaway Beach, Sheena Is A Punk Rocker, Blitzkrieg Bop, Judy Is A Punk & Do You Wanna Dance all appear on this must own 2 album set from the band. All fans of the Ramones or the genre need this one in their collection, it's an essential!!
The records are both in an easy VG+ condition with just a very light scuff on side 4 that definitely does not hamper play at all, both records play well throughout. The gatefold cover is a little import flimsy but in excellent shape. The original inner sleeves are too big and if asked, I will replace them with a more fitting inner sleeve. An awesome buy!!
