Description
The Rembrandts, best known for "I'll Be There for You," the theme song from Friends, burst onto the musical scene with this debut 1990 album, extremely rare to find on vinyl, featuring the hit Just the Way It Is, Baby.
Fully play-tested: The vinyl has a few very light marks visible under bright light, but these have very little audible effect. Just a few crackles between tracks and during the first few seconds on Side B. The overwhelming majority of it sounds NEAR MINT, but the grade is lowered to EX due to these very light visible marks. I've included a one minute video sample of the first track to demonstrate the strong sound quality.
The album jacket is in NEAR MINT- or EX condition with a slight corner bump. Otherwise, no visible edgewear, ring-wear, promo marks, cutouts, stains, or writing.
This pressing is imported from Germany (many audiophiles feel these were the best pressings of this era). There were no American vinyl releases by 1991. All writing and labels are in English.
The vinyl has been cleaned, handled with audiophile gloves (not hands), and stored and ships in an audiophile-quality anti-static inner sleeve. I also always store and ship albums in a protective 3 mil. plastic sleeve to keep these precious albums in excellent condition. This costs me a bit more, but it's worth it to ensure a high-quality record stays as pristine as possible.
