This stunning limited edition box set charts The Replacements’ early years recording for the legendary Minneapolis record label Twin/Tone Records.

One of the greats to emerge from the American indie underground, the band formed in 1979 as a raucous punk outfit, yet would go on to be one of the key components in the formative days of alt rock.


And that progression is evident across these four records, from the scrappy hardcore of Sorry Ma, Forgot to Take Out the Trash (1981) to the timeless classic Let It Be (1984), via the similarly excellent Hootenanny (1983) and the EP Stink (1982).


With each record pressed on vinyl for the first time in over two decades, the set is an essential for any Replacements collector.
