I will be offering a selection from my personal collection of 60s to early 70s Garage, Pop and Rock.

          THE RIVIERAS    "LETS HAVE A PARTY'   U.S.A.-102    1964   MONO

 

     Formed by teenager from South Bend central high school in the early mid 60s they joined the ranks of what has become known as FRAT ROCK. Bands like the Swinging Medallions, the Kingsmen and the like were a hair away from garage rock and its was during this time that they briefly held their own aganist the beginnings of the British Invasion. Their sole top 10 hit "California Sun" peaking at #5 on the National Charts the same week as the Beatles hit # 1 with "I Wanna Hold Your Hand''. This debut album also contains their other three top 100 hits "Lets have a Party", "Rockin Robin" and "Little Donna". Twelve songs in all here, quite a treat and Extremely RARE on this tiny label and homing in on close to 50 years old....OMG!

 

RECORD: VG+(+)  High Gloss, minor spindle wear, with a few lite scuffs

COVER: VG+(+)   Excellent condition except for some Fraying mostly along the top seam and a tiny 3.98 written on the upper back cover otherwisa   Beautiful with No ring wear, writings, stains, stickers, seam splits or other damage
