Description

Up for sale in this auction is a rare original pressing of The Rolling Stones, "Bridges To Babylon" double LP. Released in 1997. Pressed by Virgin Records in Europe. This is rare and hard to find Rolling Stones record from the era when vinyl wasn't as common. Vinyl is in VG+ shape with only some minor signs of wear present. Jacket is still in shrink and in VG+ shape conservatively with only minor wear present! Comes with original printed inner sleeves. The records will be shipped in poly lined paper sleeves to ensure the printed inners stay in better shape. There is some light ringwear and wear around the edges of the original printed inners. Please see photos and/or ask questions before bidding.

Goldmine Grading System:

  • SS  Still Sealed 
  • M  Mint - Perfect in all ways.
  • M- Mint Minus - Near perfect, most likely and unplayed record
  • NM- Near Mint Minus - Extremely well cared for record. Probably a record that's been around for some years but extremely well looked after, but still not quite new enough to call Mint.
  • VG++ Very Good Plus - As close to NM as it comes.
  • VG+  Very Good Plus - Very close to like new with only superficial signs of use that do not affect playability. Only records stored and used with care will grade out to VG+.
  • VG Very Good - A used, reasonable copy that plays. There will be obvious signs of wear and the possibility of some light surface noise between tracks or during quiet passages, but still nice and playable.
  • VG- Very Good Minus - A record with significant wear and marks. Records graded VG-usually have some noticeable surface noise.
  • G+ Good Plus. 'Good' means pretty beat up. From here on down (Fair, Poor), we're talking about extremely beat up records.
