On offer here from my rare record collection is The Rolling Stones 'Let It Bleed' the 1969 DECCA UNBOXED MONO original UK 1st pressing with 1a 1a matrixes!!!! Of note is 1A 1A pressings are becoming rarer and rarer by the day due to the small production run before DECCA changed the mother plate to 2a for mass production. THIS ALBUM IS FANTASTIC AND THE ROLLING STONES FINEST WORK!!!! IT HAS BARELY BEEN PLAYED AND SURELY HAS TO BE ONE OF THE BETTER COPIES STILL AVAILABLE!!!!  I HAVE TEST PLAYED IT BEFORE LISTING AND CAN REPORT THAT IT PLAYS without any major issues in fantastic mono!!! It really sounds excellent on both sides when played loud, with just slight background noise to report on the first few seconds of the quiet intro to Love in Vain!!! This is only due to dust in the grooves which should go once played several times or once cleaned. Overall, the music on all tracks is ultra clear and sounds ABSOLUTELY AWESOME with the bass, depth, warmth and clarity you can only get from a 1st Press DECCA UK mono vinyl!!! An excellent listen which is amazing for a record of this age and rarity!!! Must grade overall audibly as a high Ex!!! THIS IS a very high grade FOR AN ALBUM OF 44 YEARS OF AGE.

In addition to its fantastic audio return, this album is complete as can be seen by the listing photo.  It comes with a great VK poster which has never been away from the solid stickered outer cover with its mono/stereo peep hole in the back  AND it comes with the original RED LIB MONO INNER identifying the credits. 

In grading the album, I can say that the vinyl/wax on side 2 is MINT and side 1 is excellent with only 2 very short fine hairlines to be seen under light on top of the vinyl surface !!!! I have as mentioned above played the album through without any problems in the audio return as the stylus plays through cleanly without any skips. Most of these 60s Stones LPs are as you expect usually found WITH lots of SCRATCHES. This one is NOT one of those.  It has been protected by my Father since its purchase in 1969. THE WHOLE RECORD SHINES !!!! ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!! THIS RECORD HAS BARELY BEEN PLAYED AT ALL!!!! The record labels are in top condition with NO writing, NO wear, and just a few LIGHT spindle marks showing that this record has hardly been played!!!!  This was because my Father owned and played his stereo copy.

It is great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual!!!!  The record must grade at a high EX!!!!  As said above, the record comes in its ORIGINAL 'Bleed' inner which is PERFECT, NO splits, NO stains, etc  The POSTER is in STUNNING condition with NO rips, NO tears, NO wear, NO stains and NO pinholes!!!! The poster has clearly NEVER been out of the cover!!!! The STICKERED Cover advertising the free VK  poster is in EXCELLENT ++ condition!!!! It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear. It retains ALL its original flatness, MEGA shiny laminate and NO writing!!!! The unlaminated back is also in excellent ++ condition with NO writing, NO rubbing, NO grubbyness and NO yellowing!!!!

THE LIB PROMO BOOKLET THAT COMES WITH THIS ALBUM SHOWING PHOTOS OF THE BAND AND THEIR PAST ALBUM CATALOGUE IS EXTREMELY RARE AND IN EXCELLENT CONDITION.  THESE BOOKLET WERE LIMITED TO A PRODUCTION RUN OF 200 AND SENT OUT TO UK RECORD STORES TO PROMOTE LET IT BLEED AND THE BANDS PREVIOUS ALBUM RELEASES.
