Description
This is a beautiful first pressing, stereo copy of The Rolling Stones LP titled “Beggars Banquet”, London Records catalog number PS 539, released in 1968.
This record is from my personal collection and was purchased new and played exclusively on a high end turntable. It was play tested in order to provide an accurate description.
This 50 year old LP was pressed on thick vinyl. It is in excellent condition, very clean and sounds great with only a few light clicks and typical stylus on vinyl sounds. The record labels are in excellent condition.
The outer gatefold jacket is in excellent condition with solid seams all around. The rear of the jacket shows some minor ring wear at top and bottom and there is a record store stamp at the bottom right corner (Scott’s Music Center was in Vernon CT. The owner stamped every record). The original London Records printed inner sleeve is in perfect condition (see pictures).
I will pack the record outside of the jacket to protect jacket integrity and ship in a sturdy LP mailer with cardboard inserts and bubble wrap for further protection.
