The Auction
Highly collectable second album from The Rolling Stones on Decca . Mono copy. Laminated flipback sleeve with "blind man text" The album has been professionally cleaned. Classifications as per Record Collector UK.
- Vinyl - The album is in Very Good + condition, no scratches, a few light non play impacting light spindle marks and minor paper scuffing. The record plays exceptionally well throughout. I've played it right through twice and there are no pops or clicks. There is some very light background noise on quieter moments. A very good copy indeed considering the age of the album.
- Sleeve - Laminated Clarifoil flipback sleeve is in Excellent condition. There is some ceasing to the record entry point on the lower right hand side. No pen marks or tears. The spine is clearly readable, all edges and corners are intact. The sleeve notes by Andrew Loog Oldham contains the "BLIND MAN TEXT" later removed.
- Labels - Decca - Red Unboxed labels - Immaculate.
- Catalogue Number - LK 4661 Mono
- Matrix Numbers - 2A/2A
- Sound Quality - The overall sound quality is superb throughout. I tend to play albums quite loud in order to pick up any defects and this sounded great throughout.
- Internal Reference - Mere Green
