ALBUM PLAYED FOR GRADING:
Yes – brilliant! - GREAT AUDIO - Great sound quality throughout.
With a completely different track listing to the standard UK pressing of 'Out of Our Heads', this rare record plays up to its visual grading and beyond. Great Clear Strong Sound, this rare record plays with vibrant audio throughout. Strong, undistorted audio, the frequencies are sharp and clear. I will give a detailed account below:
The start of the record on both sides is relatively clear, with slight background static only. 'Mercy Mercy' powers in with very little background noise. Great clear bright loud sound. There are seven clicks near the start of the track but absolutely no distortion. The clicks are not particularly loud, and this is the only obvious sound blemish during the music on the record, but they are there. 'Hitch Hike' sounds great and plays with no pops or clicks, just bright clear sound. 'The Last Time' plays with stunning audio as does 'Thats How Strong My Love Is', great loud sound for these classic tracks. There are four clicks between track four and five but the audio is really clear. 'Good Times and 'I'm All Right' both sound superb, with great clear audio and no pops or clicks.
Side 2. starts with the massive 'Satisfaction' which plays with amazingly clear sound. The quiet 'Cry to Me' also sounds great, with a little surface static but nothing intrusive. 'The Under Assistant West Coast Man' sounds great, with no distortion and no pops or clicks, just great clear audio. A couple of light tics between tracks only and the long quiet intro of 'Play with Fire ' sounds great. Minimal surface sound and no loud pops or clicks.
The beginning of ‘The Spider and the Fly’ is very clear, the channels are clean and unstressed with NO evidence of any groove-wear whatsoever. Rounding off with 'One More Try' this last track sounds great, bight clear sound. Some light surface static but nothing intrusive and no pops or clicks. This is a great Audio pleasure and I would have to grade the Audio at VERY GOOD PLUS to EXCELLENT condition.
A great all round example of this great and very rare EXPORT Out of Our Heads vinyl, and a staggering first Mono mix, unlike the re-issues that lack the impact and the clarity of sound.
THE RECORD - Visual Grading
A thick pressed very glossy vinyl. Deep clear grooves that can only be found on the original early pressings. Both have NO serious scratches but there are a number of faint hairlines, (some of which are quite long) scuffs and handling marks. Not pristine but still a lovely piece, and no serious marks that cause continuous or dominant interference to the sound quality. Unbelievable to think this vinyl is 45 years old! Grades at VERY GOOD PLUS to EXCELLENT condition.
A great all round Complete and Rare example of this STONES MASTERPIECE
Super Clear MONO mix, which packs amazing drive and punch.
Out of Our Heads is The Rolling Stones' third British album and their fourth in the United States. It was released in 1965 through London Records in the US on 30 July 1965, and Decca Records in the UK on 24 September 1965 (in both mono—catalogue number LL3429; and in stereo—PS429), with significant track listing differences between territories.
Initially issued in July 1965 in America (featuring a shot from the same photo session that graced the cover of 12 X 5 and The Rolling Stones No. 2), Out of Our Heads was a mixture of recordings made over a six month period, including the Top 10 hit "The Last Time", the worldwide number 1 "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction" and a track from the UK-only live EP; Got LIVE if you want it!.
Riding the wave of "Satisfactions” success, Out of Our Heads became The Rolling Stones' first US #1 album, eventually going platinum. In 2003 the US edition was listed as number 114 on the List of Rolling Stone's 500 Greatest Albums of All Time.
The British Out of Our Heads — with a different cover — added songs that would surface later in the US on December's Children (And Everybody's) and others that had not been released in the UK, such as Heart Of Stone. Issued later that September, Out of Our Heads reached #2 in the UK charts behind The Beatles' Help!. It was The Rolling Stones' last UK album to be made up of R&B covers.
VINYL TESTED FOR ANY SIGNS OF WARPING:
Yes, NONE visible what so ever, when tested be sight and on a moving turntable.
THE COVER
Comes with the original laminated Sleeve printed in London by Robert Stace. There is no feathering to the opening edge, which is very unusual. There are some light laminate creases and indentations (as shown clearly in the images) but very little discolouration on the rear cover. There is a small tape mark, about 1cm square on the rear opening, as clearly shown on the images, but it is very faint. This really is a very nice cover, with little to fault it, other than some light handling marks and minimal corner wear. Grades at VERY GOOD PLUS to EXCELLENT condition.
THE LABELS - EXCELLENT PLUS
Famous RED DECCA labels are in GREAT Condition, no marks or writing, no discernible spindle wear. Great all round examples, with light spindle traces only!

SCRUPULOUS EXAMINATION and TESTING; PLEASE NOTE:
This record has been play tested on highly sensitive equipment to ensure the sound quality and accuracy of description. I aim to give a precise and concise description of the sound quality, pointing out any defects so that you know what you are buying. I will not go into screeds of information about the nature of the songs, as I imagine that you already know them well. I aim to describe all items as accurately as possible, and offer a full refund on return if for any reason you are not completely happy with the item description.
.
VINYL SOUND - PLEASE NOTE:
The highest quality vinyl with clear sound is rare, and is what I always aim for. I only sell records that play with TOP AUDIO performance, super clear sound uninterrupted by hiss or other interference. Even with the cleanest copies you will find occasional static sound or occasional light tics during playback, caused by a build of dust in the grooves. This is clearly different from the distortion, loud pops, repeating tics or clicks that are found on heavily played and worn pieces of vinyl. Any static build up will reduce when played, and I advise a light clean should be given between plays for optimal performance.
VINYL
Large format art work covers with the original sound and mix unique to vinyl and of the highest quality audio. Vinyl record have always been loved and have become a great investment opportunity, with prices soaring over the last ten years, making classic pieces a great financial as well as a cultural investment.

MINT: Virtually unplayed. The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. Cover is pristine.

V.G PLUS: The record will still be nice and shiny, but may have a few light marks, and will play well. Slight wear and tear on the cover.
V.G: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, etc.
FAIR: Fair. It is noticeable that the record has been played so much that the sound quality has deteriorated very noticeably. The cover and contents are showing signs of folding, scuffing of edges etc.
