The Rolling Stones have been fantastic songwriters beyond the simpler blues based compositions that were their beginnings, and this album was at the beginning of writing their own compositions, as they had been covering then-obscure original blues numbers - a handful of which are featured on this album.

This is an early CLASSIC for this band - who will undoubtedly remain unsurpassed in music history for longevity, quantity of output, live performances, and respect in the industry!

Every track seems a special recording in their early career. It's cool to read Andrew Oldham's breakdown of these tunes too. Historic!!

A great sixties album made in the  UK for EXPORT, and here's the unboxed Decca lable original!

Condition;

The VINYL is VG+ overall, playing closer to EXCELLENT.

Top shine, a couple of scratches visible that don't affect the sound.

This is a nice playing 'DEEP GROOVE' disc, loud and clear, enjoyable listening.

The LABLES are EXCELLENT.

No stickers, bright and clean, some spindle lines visible around the centre.

The FRONT LAMINATED card COVER is VG+.

Some handling creases to the laminate, slight separating to the bottom corner but all seams intact and strong. A respectable example still.

See photos.
