Description

Here is a lovely original mono UK Decca copy of Out Of Our Heads by The Rolling Stones (LK 4773) from 1965. This is one of the hardest to obtain of the early original Stones' albums, especially in well cared for condition such as this.

Here is a fine example of the original front laminated single sleeve featuring the iconic Gerard Mankowitz monochrome photo of the band. The spine features the correct pinched ends of the first pressing Clout & Baker Ltd cover. There are no rips, tears or unwanted writing and all edges are straight and true, with the opening edge fine and unfeathered. There is just a little creasing here and there, while the unlaminated rear has survived well. This lovely original front laminated single sleeve easily grades VG+.

The disc also looks lovely with just a few very light marks showing when viewed under halogen lighting while the labels show only moderate markings around the spindle hole. This heavyweight slab of vinyl lies perfectly flat on the turntable and plays with remarkable '60s clarity and vibrancy. The record easily grades VG.
