Description
This is a Picture Sleeve only - No Record.
This comes from a special release to radio stations only and not available for the public to purchase.
The EP may be out there, but the PS is certainly a rarity and any collector of The Rolling Stones should want to have this, regardless of condition.
Front Cover has picture of "It's Only Rock 'N Roll" with Record Number PR 228. "For Promotional Use Only - 45 RPM, with "Tongue Logo." Back of sleeve has the date: January 21, 1975, with letter addressed to radio station programmers "In answer to mounting requests you will find a 45 rpm version of "Time Waits For No One" enclosed. This is the entire Lp cut (6:31) mono-stereo back to back."
It is signed by Dick Kline, VP - National POP Promotion.
The front and back covers have some ring-wear, and some light staining from age. Also, the top of the sleeve has some tearing and creasing. (See pics for closeups). I am a private collector for over 40 years who is now liquidating entire collection. Shipping to US addresses only. Will combine shipping with other records.
