Album cover and inner sleeve are in near mint condition, both sides of vinyl are in shiny black near mint condition with no scratches or finger marks.  A hard to see mark is just about visible around the spindle hole in the centre.

A very hard to see minor scuff mark at the bottom front and rear of the outer sleeve, too small to pick up my camera.

Purchased on release in 1978, recorded onto Cassette Tape and later onto CD.  The album has been played less than a handful of times, spending years stored in the record cabinet and only being removed from, and returned to, the cabinet when moving house.

The Rolling Stones released their “Some Girls” studioalbum on June 9, 1978.This iconic album was recorded during sessions held from October 1977 to February 1978 at Pathé Marconi Studios in Paris. It was produced by the band’s chief songwriters – lead vocalist Mick Jagger and guitarist Keith Richards (credited as the Glimmer Twins),with Chris Kimsey engineering the recording1.

“Some Girls” marked a return to basics for the Rolling Stones, featuring a stable lineup and fewer guest musicians. Despite controversy surrounding its cover artwork and lyrical content, the album was a commercial success, peaking at number one onthe US Billboard Top LPs & Tape chart and becoming the band’s top-selling album in the United States. Notablehit singles from the album include “Beast of Burden,” “Shattered,” and the chart-topping “Miss You” 1. It remains a classic in the Stones’ discography and was even nominated for a Grammy Award in the Album of the Year category1.
