This record is in good+ condition. It has lots of faint spindle marks and rubbing visible on the labels but there is no pen marks, scuffs or major fading. There is no serious wear to the centre holes and they are not loose. Overall the labels(which are the 'Z' version) are in decent shape with no major issues but lots of light spindle marks as mentioned.
As for the vinyl itself, both sides are clearly used and do have marks, scuffs, light scratches and surface lines showing. These are light however and there is little that can be felt. These signs of use and wear clearly show under bright light along with lots more light wispy lines and signs of age. Despite being clearly used and not being the prettiest visually the record still has a nice lustre.
I play tested the record and it plays much better than it looks. It lays flat on the deck and upon playing there is little to no movement in the record arm. The audio is still very enjoyable throughout and it has no skips, sticks or serious disruptive clicks((4 between tracks 4 and 5 on side 1). There is some surface noise or mild interference in the run in and between tracks and a little noticeable in the quieter parts of some tracks but nothing at all that is seriously disruptive. I also noted only a touch of distortion with nothing majorly stand out or severe. So overall not a completely crystal clear or perfect audio experience(as you can imagine from a record graded G+) but one that is still very enjoyable and in my opinion has audio closer to very good+ rather than good+.
The sleeve is in fair condition. It has clear and obvious wear, creasing and damage to both sides and all the edges. Firstly there is a large 4.5" split to the centre of the spine(pics). There is also wear and rubbing to all the other edges, but no further splits. The record entry edge is frayed and has small tears along it on both sides. There is clear and obvious ring marks to both sides, heavy creasing to the laminated front and age related grubbiness and discolouring to the rear. Overall a tatty sleeve all round that clearly shows its age. It is however still holding together and so I graded as fair rather than poor. I have tried to describe these as best I can but please study the pictures provided to gain as much information as possible as to its condition and do not expect much from it.
It contains a brand new plain white replacement inner.
Overall a well used UK original with a tatty sleeve, but one that nonetheless still produces a very enjoyable rendition of this Stones classic.
The record will be packaged in cardboard stiffeners and bubble wrapped thoroughly when dispatched. It will also be sent in a brand new protective plastic sleeve, and within 24hrs of receiving payment to try to ensure a swift delivery.
