Description
Hello and welcome to one of my auctions! I am a record collector for over 15 years now and I think it’s about time to sell a couple records to make some room and pass it on to another collector. This week’s auctions feature my Rolling Stones, Beatles (and related) and 60’s beat records that are from my own personal collection, so here we go!
On offer, a very rare early U.K. STEREO pressing of The Rolling Stones – Sticky Fingers on the Rolling Stones Record label, cat number COC 59100 with zipper cover and insert.
The record is in EX minus condition, there are a few non sounding hairlines and a couple small non-sounding scuff marks only. The labels are in EX condition, there are a few spindle marks only. The matrix endings on this copy are A3 and B4.
The zipper cover is in VG(+) condition, there is a small piece missing on top of where the belt closes and there is a scratch mark on the right hand side of the front. There is also a very small imprint of the zipper on the back. Besides mentioned imperfections, this cover looks very presentable.
This copy still has the insert, which is in EX minus condition. Besides a little age browning, this insert still looks great!
This is a very early UK pressing of The Rolling Stones’ Sticky Fingers album in a real stunning condition. Most copies I have seen are later repressings or were completely trashed. This copy has survived and although there are some minor things to the cover, this copy is certainly a keepers copy that will need no further upgrade. Happy Bidding!
