A brilliant era in rock, where bands in England were enthusiastically paying tribute to the originalAmerican black blues legends!
In their home states they'd been practically forgotten, eclipsed by rock n roll and the Motown R n B.
Across in Europe though, they were just getting attention, and THE ROLLING STONES wanted to be among the spearhead of the new culture.
They're one of the first to represent the white-boy blues surge, alongside Graham Bond Organisation, The Yardbirds and Alexis Korner.
The Stones cut their teeth with, and definitely gave respect and credit to the originals, before becoming pop and psych rockers.
Here's the FIRST lp (with that iconic cover) and a worthy debut it was too.
CONDITION;
The VINYL grades VG+.
Some wear, few surface marks, and playing well.
A decent example overall.
Maroon 'ffss' Lables are VG+
no pen or stickers, bright and clean.
The solid LAMINATED Cover grades VG, no issues.
