Excellent copy of The Rolling Stones UK debut album. Very early pressing in mono.
The album was only released in mono in both the UK and US; no true stereo mix was ever made.
The album cover photo was taken by Nicholas Wright. The cover bears no title or identifying information other than the group photo and the Decca logo – an "unheard of" design concept originated by manager Andrew Loog Oldham. Red/Silver Decca labels on both sides and original inner bag intact. Arguably the definitive recording of the early Stones. This original UK debut album has been out of print and unavailable on CD for many years.
