THE ROLLING STONES their Satanic Majesties DECCA LP 3D sleeve UNBOXED MONO TXL 103!
UK LP with 3D cover gate-fold sleeve, released in 1967 on the
DECCA label (BLUE UNBOXED LABEL MONO).
Catalogue number: TXL 103.
Matrix Number A-side: ZAL-10432.P-1D
Matrix Number B-side: ZAL-10433.P-2D
VERY GOOD/GOOD CONDITION
Original GATE-FOLD LAMINATED front/back sleeve with 3D cover.
Back and spine sleeve print reads MONO TXL 103. 3D plastic has a
small corner piece missing, which has been broken off on the top left
hand side, showing part of the blue sleeve print underneath.
Some surface scuffs marks are evident on the actual 3D plastic
mounting. Front, back and spine laminate is in EXCELLENT
condition, displaying minimal wear and is mainly intact. Some
light wear on the top spine corner and a small light corner
crease/knock on the top front left hand side (light sleeve impression
evident). Bottom sleeve print edging on the back gate-fold
sleeve shows sleeve print wear, rest of sleeve’s edging is fine with
minimal wear evident. Middle gate-fold sleeve is mostly EXCELLENT
clean with no major damage showing, only flaw is a small
sleeve print paper split (approx. 4cms) showing on the top middle
section of the spine’s edge (outer spine is not affected) and there a
very faint name and address written in blue pen on the top
middle section of the inside front sleeve (above the maze). The top
left hand side/corner of the back gate-fold sleeve’s edging has lifted
slightly having come unglued for approx. 6cms along the seem from
the corners edge. Will repair easily and is no detriment to the sleeve
as a whole.
Record comes complete with the original DECCA MONO red printed
paper/poly lined inner sleeve, which is in VERY GOOD+
condition, clean with some light corner creases evident.
Both record labels are clean with no visible wear or any damage,
there are a few visible spindle hole markings on the A-side label, with
more on the B-side.
Both record playing sides displays surface marks, ranging from
visible surface marks to fine line surface scuff marks, not excessive
but moderately scattered and with the matrix areas and the outer
edges lightly affected.
Both sides have been played a few times with a weighted stylus arm
and overall plays mostly VERY GOOD, some background surface
noise is evident and the occasional background click in
places. Record plays far better then it looks and have graded
based on appearance only.
