Description

Title: Cherry Bomb / Blackmail
Format: 1976 Japanese first issue 7” white label promo
Label: Mercury
Cat. No: SFL-2121
Vinyl: NEAR MINT
Very clean vinyl on both sides. I can't see any marks on side 1. Side 2 has a few very light lines visible from certain angles.
Labels are clean and all text is clearly visible. A great copy of this Runaways classic and a first-release Japanese white label promo too.
Insert: EX-
The insert is textured, and the colours on the front are still bright and vibrant.
There's a very thin strip of discolouration on the pink side at the right, which seems to be fairly common with this insert, and some light age-related discolouration on the rear. Overall though, it remains in great condition after 46 years. I have age-related discolouration on my rear too.
There are none of the issues sometimes found on Japanese releases - No tape residue. No radio station date or reference stamps. No rips, foxing etc. SEE PHOTOS.
Sleeve:
Company sleeve as shown. Excellent, apart from a very small seam split at one side.
Postage & Packing
No postage rip-offs from me. Ever.
UK postage is by 2nd-class Signed-For at £3.05 (i.e. the price the P.O. charges).
Packaging is free (heavy-card 7" mailing envelope with a stiffener and a plastic sleeve included).
