"THE SAVAGE RESURRECTION"

1968 Mercury SR-61156 label

The condition of the cover is VG+ with a small tear and tiny drill hole at the top left back cover (see photos).  There are no seam splits or writing.  The condition of the disc is an overall VG+.  There is a tiny scratch on the track "Expectations" that causes a light tick for several revolutions but absolutely no skips. The remainder of the record looks and plays EX!  Includes the original Mercury Records inner sleeve (split seam, wear).

West Coast freaks the Savage Resurrection were formed out of local garage bands, and this album is one of the better-known major-label acid rock releases of the era.  What makes the record so cool is the double dose of aggressive fuzz lead guitar by John Palmer and Randy Hammon!
