THE SAVAGES
The savages "Savages Live " Original India Polydor (2450 101) Pressing (one of the earliest Releases from Polydor India and monster rare collectable Garage album. These guys were amongst the very few bands in India that managed to release an album at the time, (especially if you consider the music : fuzz freak out beat with a unique oriental feeling but raw garage drive.
This is extremely rare, if you can find a copy at all. Listed in Hans Pokora with 3 stars in record collector dreams 1001 page 119, although i think it should have more. (These guys played at the SIMLA BEAT festival, amongst other bands that were all trying to imitate them!) and if you search for it there's even very little information at all about Simla Beat, but this LP is here to confim it, this is the true soul of the simla beat legendary recordings, (virtually unknown, even amongst dealers in India!!!)
EX/EX - super clean copy very unlikely to surface again!!!
The cover has just a slight bend on the right corner and tiny discoloration on the top left corner, basically shelf wear, almost a mint cover in fact. The vinyl is ultra clean but graded conservatively just EX.
NO RESERVE!! very very rare!!! don't even think twice..
