Description

THE SHAGGS: WINK - RARE GARAGE PSYCH LP in SHRINK - 1967 NOTRE DAME - MCM LABEL

Release:

CM, 6311

Super scarce original copy in shrink (with a tear in shrink back bottom left).  Record would benefit from a good sonic cleaning as I believe the pressings were on a cheap variety of wax.  


Condition:

Most records visually graded- minimal cleaning if any at all.  

Record: 

SIDE 1: VG-(5) tons of gloss but many scratches - plays through with no skips on my Technics SLD22 turntable but with pops and tics, mostly on songs 2,3,4 and 5

SIDE 2: VG+(7) appears super glossy and plays great with an occasional tic or pop.


Cover: great shape, tear in shrink back bottom left, light foxing on white background due to age - please see photos.


Grading:

[VG+ 7]...Used and played, but not abused.  light scratches and/or paper scuffs.  Labels are very clean.  The record plays with very minimal surface noise.  A very collectable condition. 


[VG- 5]...(minus)...Very used, a bit rough, but still plays through without skipping.  Background noise is noticeable.  Good enough to fill the gap in your collection until a better copy comes along. *We periodically sell VG-(5) copies of hard to find records.  Please be aware that they will not sound like a VG++ or M- record.
