Description
Available here is a 12" vinyl record - The Shining, featuring music from the soundtrack of Stanley Kubrick’s film. It was issued in this form by Warner Bros in Germany and in 1980. With the catalogue number WB 56 827, it’s a 1st pressing in this form.
Identifiers - The record has the following matrix marks -
Matrix / Runout - Side 1 - Etched - WEA 56827 - A XX - PF
Matrix / Runout - Side 2 - Etched - WEA 56827 - B X - PF
Vinyl Condition - Very Good+ - The record is bright and clean - no worrying scratches although the odd light surface mark may be found. Having listened to both sides, I can confirm there is no jumping or sticking. The odd light click may be heard, with a little background noise at times, most noticeable during quieter moments. Background crackle is minimal. I’ve only given the record a cursory clean, so the sound quality may well improve further with a little more dedicated attention.
Sleeve Condition - Very Good+ - Original sleeve with minor signs of wear but no serious damage. There are a few minor marks with rubbing to the outer corners. Inner is die-cut poly-lined and somewhat discoloured by the passage of time.

It is not my intention to profit from postage. If possible I use good clean recyclable material but I also buy bubble wrap, brown paper, packing tape and glue and all items are well wrapped and protected before posting. Items are also weighed and postage calculated before I list at auction and a small percentage of the charge does go towards packing costs.
